When I started reading this book, I wasnt aware that this was the nineteenth book in the DCI Bill Slider series. Although I may have missed out on some character development from the previous books, the story-line was very easy to follow/5. In Old Bones, several years passed since Nora’s husband died, and she has been working as a museum curator and archaeologist in Santa Fe, trying to keep busy and keep her personal pain at bay.
